Haven't you ever wondered who was the first African American to enter an all white school during segregation, well I did and I realized that this person was ruby bridges. She is well known because she entered an all white school during segregation meaning she was the only black. She is heroic because she had enough bravery, courage and determination to fight for her education.
Ruby Bridges was and has always been a civil rights advocate with her experience of being the first black female child to enter an all white school even though kids were racist and people not liking her family she still never missed school even though her family was a target she never gave up.
Ruby Bridges got famous with people admiring her for being the first black African kid to enter an all white school and was brave and entered the school only wanting to learn and make a difference in the world of segregation in schools and soon she did make a difference and segregation no longer happened in schools.
A character trait that this person has to make them a good person is bravery because she doesn’t care about other people's thoughts. I look up to this person because she is the girl who fought for equal education and had a lot of bravery. We can learn to fight for equality and fight for what’s right.
