Honoring the everyday heroes working to fight the pandemic.
The invisible working-class is an artwork which represents domestic cleaners, whose job is particularly important during the current COVID-19 pandemic. However important their work is, it continues to go unnoticed, and so the purpose of this photograph is to draw attention it.
Through pulling apart the vacuum cleaner, I am forcing you, as the audience, to appreciate all of the machines parts which you not usually see.
