Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929, and got assassinated on April 4, 1968 at the age of 39 years old. He was the son of church organizer Alberta Williams King and pastor Martin Luther King Sr. He was a minister that grew up to be a civil rights activist. He grew up in a hostile environment by protesting peacefully and not by fighting.

He made peace by impacting the world by protesting peacefully and not fighting physically. He has been protesting against racism for a while and after he made his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, people became less racist and stopped being unfair to black people.

They couldn’t accept racism against black people so he did something about it.
