I digitally painted Marie Curie, a historic scientist from Poland. In this painting I have depicted her how I imagine she would look working in her laboratory. I painted Marie Curie because her discovery of radium and polonium led scientists to major breakthroughs. I also admire her huge contribution to finding treatments for cancer as well as the invention of the x-ray.
