The Thalys Heroes are four men: Chris Norman, Anthony Sadler, Spencer Stone and Aleksander Skarlatos. Three of them are American and soldiers (Anthony, Spencer and Alek); Chris Norman is British. Spencer and Alek have been awarded French Nationality now, thanks to the help they provided to our nation.

They saved 500 people from a terrorist attack attempt on August 25, 2015 on the train to Paris.
So:
Some received medals like the Medal of USAF, Purple Heart, and Secretary of Defense.
On the September 20, 2018, Spencer and Alek were granted French Nationality.
On August 24, François Hollande gave the Legion of Honor to them, to thank them.
The United States Army Soldier’s Medal was given by Barack Obama to Aleksander.
Moreover, Clint Eastwood did a movie about their Heroism, The 15.17 to Paris in August 2016, in which they played their own role.
During the terrorist attack attempt, Alek and Spencer threw themselves on the shooter (who had a failing gun). Then, Chris and Anthony disarmed the shooter and mastered him.
At the same time, Stone was injured by a cutter stroke, but he still tried to help.
So, they are some of the bravest people ever because they could have been killed by the terrorist. They were also bold and determined, courageous and proud, intelligent and special! They weren't afraid. I admire them for their courage, bravery and determination to help because they saved 500 people in this train!
