The Weeknd is one of the most accomplished singers on the planet so as you might expect he has won many awards here are some of them: four Grammy Awards, 20 Billboard Music Awards, 22 Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, and a Latin Grammy Award, as well as nominations for an Academy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award.

Did you know that on January 1, 2023 'Blinding Lights' written by The Weeknd surpassed Ed Sheeran’s 'Shape of You' to become the most streamed song of all time on the platform? And About a year later it became the first song ever to pass the 4 billion stream mark on Spotify.

In March of 2022, the Weeknd launched the XO Humanitarian Fund to help the fight against world hunger. His XO Fund was able to raise $5,000,000 to aid in providing food for those in need. In 2021, he donated $1 million in food aid to Ethiopia, and in 2020 he donated $500,000 to COVID-19 relief efforts in Scarborough, $500,000 to Black Lives Matter causes, and $300,000 to support victims of the Beirut port explosion.

Now I’m almost 100% convinced that you think that the Weeknd is on a level with singers and bands like Taylor Swift, Drake, and Imagine Dragons or maybe even on a higher level. And after all this research about The Weeknd, I think everybody should add his songs to their playlists!
