A hero doesn't necessarily need to wear a cape. He needs to be unselfish, selfless, and willing to sacrifice things for the people in need. My hero is not only a loved one for many others, but he is my one and only dad, Victor Ramos.
First of all, my dad is my hero because he worked in two jobs to buy my brothers, sisters, and me a roof over our heads, clothes, and food while my mom was never contributing to the responsibility, but rather starting situations. My dad would always get mad because she wasn't helping and soon it would turn into an argument. Now that I am in foster care, my dad is the only one doing the things he needs to do in order to get me back.
Second off, my dad inspires me in ways no other person could. For example, even though my dad never finished high school, he is one of the smartest people I know. He inspires me to go all the way through school with good grades and get into a university. He said “Education is your future” and it isn't hard to believe there are engineers, architects, and scientists, and they all got there because of school. Through all the years of my life he has always told me “El huevon trabaja doble’’, which in English means,”The lazy person works double the work”.
I don't know what I would do without him. He is my one and only loving dad.
