Walt Disney mind web CamiI chose Walt Disney because I had another idea but it didn't work so I chose Walt Disney. He also inspires me a lot. I watched Disney all the time when I was little, it took me to my own world. That's why I draw like crazy because when I was little my dream was to animate for Disney but now I know it's never going to happen because it's a hard job. He created a UNIVERSE that made everyone smile and laugh. Walt Disney also created some of my favorite characters like Donald duck, Minnie Mouse, and Daisy Duck.     

Walt Disney was born in Hermosa, Chicago, Illinois, United States. Then they moved to Marceline, Missouri. Walt Disney's parents were Elias Disney (his dad) and Flora Call Disney (his mom). He had 3 brothers and 1 sister. His brothers were Roy O. Disney, Herbert Arthur Disney, and Raymond Arnold Disney. And his sister was Ruth Flora Disney and he had a dog named Chow Chow. He went to the school of the Art Institute of Chicago. His hobbies he did after school were building trains (toy) He once made a huge track in his backyard. Walt Disney was great at drawing even as a young child. The Disney family's real last name was D'Isigny  then they changed it to as you know it as Disney. Walt wanted to draw and animate. Walt would run to a barn and do chores for his adult friend and one day his friend asked him to draw his horse which foreshadowed him to draw and animate.

Walt dropped out of high school in hopes of joining the army when rejected because he was under aged. The most important person in Walt's success was Roy Disney his brother. I only know what influenced him to make Mickey Mouse. He had a mouse and lost it in a accident and only when he published his first film of Mickey Mouse (Plane Trouble) did the mouse come back to him. Walt Disney is brave because he went through the trouble of creating a company, lost money and went bankrupt and lost his apartment but he got through that. He is very creative because of all the animations he made. He was really bad at his currency he went bankrupt and did not have enough money for his rent and his studio. A sad thing that happened to Walt is his brothers Ray Disney and Herbert Disney ran away from the house they lived in at the time. Walt got more than 950 Honors including, 48 Academy Awards. And he achieved his company Disney Studios.

Walt Disney portrait CamiWhat surprised me is his childhood and what also surprised me is that he has done many  things and went bankrupt. If I met Walt Disney I would ask him how to draw current Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. I would ask him for five tickets to Disney World 😏. And lastly art lessons and a picture with him. I actually would not want to be his daughter because I'm happy with my family and I would have two other sisters. I learned that his childhood has many sad things about it and it was a big adventure to make Disney. Walt went bankrupt which made it hard to get a bigger studio for Disney Studios. I am very happy that I chose Walt because I learned that his life wasn't perfect, it had twists and turns. I now think of Walt as a role model because Walt Disney made one of the most biggest companies in the world.
