i was just doing a hw assignment and i came across my favorite poem "Sick" its the best poem ever and reminds me of ME.  You are great just like your book.

I love the poem about the dollar bill, where the boy changes it to quarteres, nickles, pennies. It's really funny. I bought that book when I was three, and now I'm ten and I still have the book. It's a treasure to me, and will always be. I bring it on holiday too!

When I am feeling sad or lonely I take out one of his books and read them. They always make me feel so much better. Sometimes my mom hears me laughing from outside my room and she thinks I am crying. I love your books!

Shel Silverstein is the most creative poet and captures everyone's attention with his poems. My teachers all read his poems at the beginning of class and we are in Junior High.
