Shaun White

My hero is Shaun White. A young boy from San Diego (California), now he is a pro snowboarder and skateboarder. He was born on September 3rd, 1986 in Carlsbad. His nickname is the Flying Tomato because of his big red hair. He started snowboarding and skateboarding when he was six years old. When he was 13 years old he started professional snowboarding for the Burton team. He recorded his own snowboard movie called The White Album. He won a lot of snowboarding and skateboarding competitions, but his biggest competition was the Olympic games in Italy (Torino) in 2006 where he won an Olympic gold medal. He was just 20 years old. He is my hero because he is so good in this sport. I’m a snowboarder and skateboarder too. I like his tricks and his snowboarding style. One day I want to do tricks like him.
