Winners Announced: MY HERO Robert Shetterly Art Competition Celebrates Portraits of Heroism

Laguna Beach, CA – [Insert Date] – The MY HERO Project is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Robert Shetterly Art Competition, honoring outstanding student-created portraits of heroes who are making a difference in the world.

Young artists from around the globe submitted original portrait artwork celebrating personal, local, or global heroes. From family members, community activists and teachers to environmental leaders and historical changemakers, the entries powerfully reflected the courage, compassion, and creativity that define true heroism.

Submissions were judged by renowned artist Robert Shetterly, founder of Americans Who Tell the Truth, in collaboration with the MY HERO Gallery team.
