The Patriotic Story of Martyr Gwansun Yu
Yu Gwan Sun was a Korean female activist and a organizer in the March 1st Movement against Japanese colonial rule of Korea. This movement was a protest movement by Korean people and student calling for independence from Japan. In my drawing, I use Hibiscus which has a meaning "eternity" to represent her patriotism. Also, it is a traditional symbol of Korea. Through my poster, I want audience to look back at similar resistance movement in the past and present in the word for freedom.
