In honor of Jacques Cousteau, I did this research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose Jacques because he was a marine explorer and I am thinking of maybe becoming one someday. After the research, I was glad I did because I learned so much about him.
Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world such a hero? Jacques Cousteau was born on June 11, 1910. He was born at St. Andre-de-Cubzac, in France. His parents were Daniel and Elizabeth Cousteau.
The foundation of heroism is education. In his lifetime Jacques went to five different schools around the world. These five schools are a Boarding School in Paris, Holy Name School in Manhattan, College Stanislas, Ecole Navale, and Fleet Aviation School at Hourtin. He was a very good student.
Hard work contributes to Heroism. He is very famous and has many career highlights in his lifetime. One of his career highlights is when in 1957 he retired from the navy and went full-time to marine exploration. Another career highlight is in 1959 he invented a submarine unit called “Diving Saucer.”

Jacques Cousteau is important to mankind and changed the world. He changed the world in marine exploration. This person is important because of all the things he discovered in the world’s oceans. The most important thing he did and is most famous for is when in 1965 he took Conshelf III and six other men underwater for a month straight. A TV show was even created about this tremendous experience.
