Who is my hero? Steve Irwin AKA the Crocodile Hunter! Even though he died on the job filming for his biography movie when a Stingray stung him in the heart. He is my hero and always will be.
Steve Irwin was born on February 22nd 1962 and died September 9th 2006. He was born in Essendon, Victoria, Australia. He went to Darling Downs Institute of animals (part time). But before he went to Darling Downs, he went Colounda High School. He is married to Terri Rains and has a daughter named Bindi and a son named Robert.
His parents influenced him to do what he loved. He always loved caring for wildlife he practically grew up in the wildlife. His parents taught him to love animals and care for them. But he was mostly influenced because his parents were Animal Naturalists. Some obstacles he has faced are sometimes he would get would get wounded or injured on the job from the animals, but luckily he always stayed calm and got proper care so he could stay healthy and continue what he was doing.
Steve Irwin has raised so much awareness for nature and animal, risked his life for a very important cause, fought to keep nature beautiful and clean, and educates children about nature and animals. But most importantly even with a busy life he always has time for his family. Some achievements he has achieved are he pretty much ran the Australia Zoo, taught people how to stay safe around dangerous animals, got kids interested in wildlife, rescued so many animals, got a lot of funding for animal preservation and welfare, had a baby gorilla named after him, and most importantly he discovered a new species of turtles and called it "Elsya Irwin Turtle" Steve Irwin's character traits are ... He is very adventurous because he is always on adventures and taking risks. He is kind because he was always caring and wise and put others first. Also he is caring too because he loved animals and protected them too.

Steve Irwin has influenced me to take care of animals and plants more. He has also taught me to be more aware of my surroundings and how to act in scary, dangerous animal involved situation.
Steve Irwin is a huge hero to me! Not everyone is a hero like Superman, but Steve Irwin had the power to change the world to be a beautiful place for everyone :)
