Team Turtle

Turtleman is devoted to saving animals' lives. He and his dog Lolly with his friends Neal, Squirrel, and Jake work together with their bare hands and great traps (made by Jake). Turtleman always saves any wild animal no matter what animal, even skunks (he hates skunks). His show is Call of the Wild-man on Animal Planet. Turtleman always gets his animal and returns them to the wild after naming them.

At the age of seven when Turtleman (aka Ernie) caught his first snapping turtle and that's when people began calling him Turtleman. He learned how to catch animals by himself and that started his animal catching business. His business does come with a reward: a few bucks and even a token of appreciation. He always does his best not to do too much destruction when catching an animal. Never has Turtleman EVER hurt or killed an animal when he attempts to save the animal.

Loyal Lolly

Turtleman lives in the backwoods of Kentucky as the woodsman he is. Turtleman lives off the land but still retains some modern day life style. He does travel far, even on rare occasions he travels to the ends of America and Mexico. He loves visiting other places besides Kentucky. But he still loves returning to Kentucky after his big trips off Kentucky.

Helping others

Turtleman always gives advice after he helps a person with their animal problem like never leave food out at night, spread sawdust to keep them away, always close holes that lead into the house, and NEVER approach an animal that might be rabid. He always thinks of the safety for both animals and people when dealing with animals in suburban territory. When it comes to animals getting lost in towns or buildings he can handle it. He knows what animals think of the situation and he is always one step ahead of them, making him a worthy animal expert. Turtleman is not just a guardian of animals and humans but he is the line between civilization and wildlife.

Turtleman

Turtleman is a great animal rescuer and an excellent human and animal connection. If people could be more like Turtleman we could prevent animals from causing trouble in our homes, businesses, or even factories. Learning the call of the animal is what made Turtleman my hero. I live by some of his examples and knowledge he teaches on his show. For example like how to keep mosquitoes off you, covering your scent, and learning animal calls (I can make a crow call). His survival skills he can show on TV are useful and helpful. I think Turtleman is the most amazing hero on earth.
