My hero is: I have many but my favorites are Generals and Emperors and Rebels....This is a good website, it seems whoever created this website, Heroes were those who were most benevolent toward their fellow man, and I don't know who picked Abdul Sattar Edhi, but this guy really stood out to me as probably as one of the best of the best men, humanities got, the Mother Theresa of Islam, if you will. I read about him in a Magazine article, and really made me think, that what if people like Edhi, were the leaders of nations, instead of politicians. Politicians are the best we got into todays world, but places like Pakistan, and other 3rd world countries would really prosper if only people like Edhi were rulers of them. Anyways, I don't want to waste to much of your time, but I hope some of you guys liked my comments, and all the other people who love Edhi, god bless you and good will to all of you involved in making the world a better place.

My hero is: ABDUL SATTAR EDHI. I very much admire uncle ABDUL SATTAR EDHI as he is a very kind considerate and helpful man. He has no love for worldly pleasures and just enjoying life himself, but would rather and is helping 100s and 1,000s of people.

My hero is: ABDUL SATTAR EDHI. Personally, being from Edhi's own city Karchi, I know him very well, sitting in same one pair of clothes and ready to drive ambulance on next call, taking meal on way, I pray long life for him and his wife.

My hero is: Abdul Sattar Edhi. He is a phenomenal social worker/humanitarian. There are tales of petty gangsters giving up their lives just so that he may work for another day. He is so trustworthy that people trust him with their lives. Since the age of 19-22, he began working on creating a welfare system and he is now over 70 and still going. Mr. Edhi is an inspiration to me and someone whom I hope I can emulate.
SYEDA MASHAL FATIMA - KARACHI, SINDH, PAKISTAN
My hero is: ABDUL SATTAR EDHI. HE IS A GREAT SOCIAL WORKER. HE IS PEACE-LOVING.. HE WORKS VERY HARD TO KEEP PEACE IN MY CITY. THE VERY NICE THING ABOUT HIM IS THAT HE IS JUST ONE PHONE CALL AWAY FROM ME ANYTIME AROUND THE CLOCK. ANYBODY WHO NEEDS HELP AMONG 12 MILLION CITIZENS OF KARACHI. HE IS THERE TO HELP THEM OUT.
