This collection began in December 2014 while I was thinking about the importance of intelligence. What would happen if I were to lose my thought process, my memory, or not be able to think? I began to understand and appreciate the importance of intelligence so I researched Albert Einstein. His name is a word that is part of everyday language but I did not realize that he became an American citizen in 1940 and then died in 1955. For some reason I was under the impression that he lived in another century. I was inspired by his story of wisdom and wanted to paint his portrait.
