                                Description
Ben is the Director of UCSB's National Center for Ecological Analysis & Synthesis (NCEAS), a professor, a marine ecologist and a conservation scientist. Ben and his team at NCEAS mapped the environmental pressures of feeding the world's population and produced the first ever global ‘footprint’ of food production. Their research provides new insight into decisions about which foods we choose to eat, and how we can influence policy towards more sustainable food production.
