Description
Black is Beautiful is an a children’s animated short, out of both love and urgency. For far too long, dark skin has been overlooked, undercelebrated, and misrepresented in the stories and images that surround our children. In shows, films, and even toys, “Black,” “dark,” and “brown” were too often cast as the villain, the side character, the one to fear.
Black is Beautiful is their anthem, a joyful celebration of who they are, reminding them that their skin is not something to hide from, but something to shine in.
