Description

Breaking Boundaries is an interactive celebration of history’s most influential women scientists. Explore their laboratories and work spaces, examine authentically-modeled artifacts, and discover the stories behind their lives and research. Players can see the room-sized Mark 1 Computer that inspired Grace Hopper to lay the foundations for computer programming, and visit the leaky shed where Marie Curie conducted the radium experiments that earned her the Nobel Prize. With many more scientists to come, Breaking Boundaries is not only about groundbreaking discoveries, but also of overcoming obstacles, following passions, and breaking the mold.
