Ninotchka and Bruce offer us a sneak preview of a new exhibit that traces the untold history of modern dance. 'Border Crossings: Exile and American Modern Dance' examines how the trauma of major geopolitical events--world wars, economic depressions, civil wars--as well as the alienation and oppression of structural racism affected the creativity of BIPOC and refugee artists.
