CALL FOR ANIMATION ENTRIES - 2023 MY HERO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
AUGUST 29, 2023 - LAGUNA BEACH, CA - The MY HERO International Film Festival is accepting submissions from students and professionals, with short animated films of ten minutes and under, about a hero, or an act of heroism. The deadline is October 1st.
The MY HERO International Film Festival brings together filmmakers of all levels of expertise to celebrate local and global heroes working for positive change in the world. Thanks to generous sponsors, prizes are awarded to elementary, middle school, high school, college and professionals in a variety of categories including documentary, narrative, music video, animation, experimental, and more.
This year, the festival celebrates its 19th year of showcasing uplifting and inspiring films that shine a light on everyday heroes from around the world — teachers, scientists, family members and environmentalists are among the many examples of the heroes these stories represent. By sharing your hero stories, you help promote knowledge and cross-cultural understanding among viewers around the globe.
The submission fee is waived for students through our Students Submission Form.
