CALL FOR ENTRIES – WOJ YOUTH REPORTER AWARD

MARCH 20, 2024 – LAGUNA BEACH, CA – THE MY HERO International Film Festival is looking for short films created by Middle and High School students that honor heroes and heroism. The final deadline to submit is September 1st. Winners will be announced at the 20th Annual MY HERO International Film Festival on November 16, 2024.

The WOJ Youth Reporter Award celebrates youth reporters who are creating videos on heroes making a positive difference in their community and the world. This award is presented by Esther Wojcicki, an outstanding media arts educator, author, and reporter. The prize is open to Middle and High School Students.

The MY HERO International Film Festival brings together professional and student filmmakers whose projects honor local and global heroes working for positive change in the world.  Thanks to generous sponsors, prizes are awarded to elementary, middle school, high school, college, and professionals in a variety of categories including documentary, narrative, music video, animation, experimental, and more.
