Clara Barton was Founder of The American Red Cross and an important nurse in 19th century American history
"As a patriot, he had me serve my coutry with all I had, even with my life if it be; as the daughter of an accepted Mason, he had me seek and comfort the afflicted everywhere, and as a Christian he charged me to honor God and love mankind" - Clara Barton
Clara Barton was a nurse, a teacher and a humanitarian, but she'll be best remembered for organizing the Red Cross.
