Fight the Rise

Climate change has caused a rising sea level around the globe, series of negative consequences follow this change, for example, living conditions of animals living in the ocean and by the shore would be changed drastically. Fight the Rise is a mural located at East Boston by artist Josie Morway.Two Roseate Terns are depicted here above the wave by the city. The mural shed light on the conservation of endangered Roseate terns so are other shorebirds living in Boston area. The artist states that she hopes imges of the terns could be a message to viewer, communicating the urgency to fight climate change and to preserve the endangered species.
