This is a trailer for the up and coming documentary, Phoolan. Phoolan is a feature-length documentary on one of the most controversial and consequential women of our time. Born in a small village in Northern India, Phoolan Devi, a low caste, illiterate girl with no support network, battled with odds that made her story almost biblical. A gang-rape survivor, a bandit leader, and finally a parliamentarian, her story changed India. We hope that with this film it will help change the world.
