Tuy Sereivathana works to mitigate elephant mistreatment by introducing innovative low-cost solutions and reducing the cutting down of trees which provide a home to the elephants. Since 2005, not a single wild elephant has been killed due to human conflict in Cambodia. He has also helped build community schools and developed a curriculum about conservation in order to educate the next generation.
