Description
Marine debris is a global epidemic least studied in India, a country ranked fifth in the world for waste mismanagement. Trash in the ocean is not just an aesthetic problem; it poses a serious threat to marine organisms, ecosystems, human health and navigational safety. n collaboration with the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup, Coast 2 Coast and the local community of Manori collected waste along the village’s main beach.
