Slater Jewell-Kemker has grown up as a youth reporter for the MY HERO Project. On this journey, she discovered her passion for filmmaking and continues to use media for expressing her activist voice. Slater feels that she may not always be taken seriously because of her age. However, she presents a neutral and open-minded viewpoint because of being young and still trying to learn about the world.
