Completed artwork should reflect thoughtful ideas to show how the selected hero demonstrates heroic action and creates positive social change.

Father Colin Henderson is honored to be the founder of the Friendship Shelter, a homeless shelter in Laguna Beach. This shelter gives people the opportunity to work with other people to help them get back on their feet and return to mainstream life. The community in Laguna Beach has been tremendously supportive of the Friendship Shelter by making donations and local churches providing volunteers that have helped to keep the organization going.
