Laguna Beach native Sarah Elliot journeys to Africa working as a photojournalist in remote regions. Sarah photographs many different clinics, the poverty, and people living and working near Dandora Dump in order to bring awareness to their living conditions. The people, including the children who live near Dandora Dump, spend their day searching for items they can recycle. She is acknowledged for her courage and activism in the spirit of Dan Eldon.
