A couple from Oregon travel to Uganda and fall in love with a group of orphans who turn their world upside-down. The children, targeted for abduction by rebels, were barely surviving. With the help of an unlikely group of benefactors 9,000 miles away, the couple gave the children a new chance at life, but not without great personal sacrifice. The benefactors? A group of hard-core inmates at Snake River Correctional Institution on the Oregon/Idaho border.
