Description
The satirical film Party Line, 2014, addresses the universally-recognized fact of governmental surveillance. In particular, it suggests that our knowledge of being observed and overheard will constrain free speech—that the chill produced by authoritarian surveillance will diminish our public discussion and undermine our democracy. Party Line is an Official Selection at the Camden International Film Festival in Maine, the Social Justice Film Festival in Seattle, Washington, and the Arpa International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.
