The Port River is home to many dolphins and all kinds of marine life. Aaron Machado started Project Dolphin Safe after dolphins were killed in the Port River. He then began to rescue sea animals in danger such as sick and injured dolphins, sea birds, and seals. Ever since then he patrols the Port River, removes litter, educates the public, and works with other organizations that share his same goals.
