Elzéard Bouffier spent his whole life planting trees in dry, empty land. One by one, the trees grew into a big, beautiful forest full of flowers, bees, and happy animals.
In my painting, the old man hugs a little child in the green forest he made. They smile together while the sun shines and bees fly around. It shows that one kind person can make the world beautiful again.
