The Red Bird Raiders mentor and coach young boys in football & also coach & mentor young girls in cheer. Thurgood Marshall Rec & Field are the home of the Raiders. Impacting the youth & impacting the community centralized in Oak Cliff , Tx . Many kids have gone off to grow and receive division 1&2 scholarships. Their mission is to save lives through athletics. This short film about the oldest youth football team in Dallas the Red Bird Raiders. God's Sons is a short story from the perspective of Coach Earl Thompson explaining the depth of what the team means to the community. Most children who grow up in broken homes grow up without a father figure. These kids who play for this team are taught life skills through mentorship through sports.
