Ron Kovic

Ron Kovic is a former United States Marine Corps sergeant who was wounded in the Vietnam War and became an American anti-war activist. His life was depicted in the Academy Award winning film, "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Coming Home." He also partly inspired the songs "Born in the USA" and "Shut Out the Lights" by his friend Bruce Springsteen.
