Description
Sergio Rodrigues sees the Documentary “Drawing Against Oblivion“ on Portuguese national TV. He can’t stop looking at the intriguing faces of children and adolescents that are portrayed by the Austrian artist Manfred Bockelmann who renders faces to the most innocent victims of the Holocaust. Sergio is overwhelmed by his emotions and writes an e-mail to the producer of the documentary. Unexpectedly he receives an answer and makes a decision. The ripple effect of their correspondence culminates in making the impossible possible. "unknown heroes" displays the power of art and humanity.
