Vadim Ni's help to the «Caspian sea»

The topic: «Defending the Soul of the Soil: Vadim Ni through the Eyes of a New Generation».

I created this portrait of Vadim Ni, a man I consider a true Defender of my Homeland. While some defend borders, Vadim defends the very soul of Kazakhstan — our nature. As the Caspian Sea faces a record-breaking decline in water levels, his professional expertise as an environmental lawyer becomes a shield against an ecological catastrophe.
In my artwork, I implemented a dramatic visual transition from deep oceanic blues to harsh, sandy earth tones. Through this contrast, I intended to portray the devastating drought and receding water levels that Vadim is fighting against. My goal was to visualize the immense complexity and urgency of his mission, standing between our future and the desert. I believe people like Vadim make our world better because they prove that being a patriot means preserving our land for generations to come.
As a 13-year-old artist, I’ve been on a personal 'grind' for 847 days, saving for a pro tablet to tell these stories better. I’ve reached 120k KZT, but my goal is 620k KZT. This contest is my chance to honor a hero and reach my dream.
