The movie is based on a young woman from rural India who is literally punching stereotypes and patriarchy on the faces with her actions. She is a judo master and teaches self-defence and sex education to girls in 120 village schools. The movie weaves her transition from a timid young girl who was bound by societal pressure to this strong fearless independent woman that she is today. It's because of her personal experience and her attitude towards it which has stirred something in her to be motivated. It's her story, Varsharang. Colours of rain.
