This art work was created by Jewish artist Lou Albert-Lazard. She and her daughter interned at the Gurs Camp during the war. While the camp life restricted her freedom, Lazard did not give in to the hard condition, she kept her vigorous creative energy and produced various watercolors and drawings on scenes of the camp. This sketch is one of her works that shows the life of female inmates' life in the camp.
