The purpose of this section is to identify heroic actions in various situations. It is especially applicable to elementary school students who are learning about personal responsibility and the attributes of being a “good citizen.”

 

Students are expected to be able to:
-Distinguish between heroic and non-heroic actions in teacher-provided scenarios.
-Write a scenario depicting an “everyday” sort of situation in which heroic and non-heroic actions are shown.
