An Art and Creativity for Healing, Inc. student artist created this after the death of a family member
In this work, Allison has represented her deceased baby sister as a new angel being taught to fly by an older angel.
In the Art and Creativity for Healing, Inc. bereavement workshop that Allison attended after she lost her baby sister, Allison was encouraged to make art as a means to express her great personal loss and trauma.
Art is heroic and therapeutic, especially when it comes from the heart.
