Yoshi is blind but lives a life of grace, self-sufficiency and hope, helping sighted people and spreading a spirit of positivism and independence. 'No one is just a giver. No one is just a taker,' says Yoshi. 'We are all givers and takers.' This movie weaves an interview with Yoshi with a day in her life when she goes vegetable shopping and then cooks lunch for a friend.
