This film highlights the success story of Patricia, a previously homeless young mom, who has found affordable stable housing in Oakland to pursue her life's dreams. The award-winning housing development, Madison at 14th Street Apartments, sets a new standard for sustainable green construction as well as partnerships between foster youth service providers, housing developers, and governmental agencies. Featuring David Beasley, Patricia Cortijo, Donald Ellenberg, Tim Griffith, and in partnership with Affordable Housing Associates, Community Housing Youth Advocate, and First Place for Youth.
