Cheikh Darou Seck is an English teacher from Senegal in West Africa. After meeting Jeanne Meyers from The MY HERO Project in 2004 he immediately fell in love with the organization and wanted to be apart of it. Cheikh started getting his students involved and making films with them about heroes in Senegal so that way their country could be represented on the MY HERO website. Cheikh talks more about the impact filmmaking has had on himself and his students.
