In the wake of World War II, former Broadway Actor and Bomber Pilot Garry Davis became the world's first World Citizen after giving up his United States citizenship. He began traveling the globe on his World Passport, showing how we-the-people can take back our planet and create peace. Many countries would not accept his World Passport and put him in jail for not having the right documents. More people started to become World Citizen's and with this, countries began stamping World Passports.
