Description
Growing up in Colorado, biracial student Sierra Buah has become increasingly aware of how her race sets her apart from her peers. In this personal documentary, she takes a bold step forward, using film and dance to explore her experiences as one of the few mixed-race students in a predominantly white community. Through candid conversations with her family—including her Ghanaian immigrant father—Sierra navigates questions of belonging and self-acceptance, hoping to find a path toward embracing her identity with pride.
