In an area facing pollution and climate challenges, Audubon de Mexico has taken responsibility into its own hands. This is through their Niños y Naturaleza program, led by passionate teacher Grisel Lopez, who works with primary school groups in the urban areas of San Miguel de Allende to teach them how to care for the natural world. The first initiative of its kind in the area, the program blends storytelling with hands-on activities in the school garden. Grisel not only inspires her students — she sparks a love for nature that can carry on for generations. Los Maestros del Mañana shines a light on the power of children as leaders for a better future.
