So begins 10-year-old Jordan Sung’s “What I Learned,” a poem about his hero-teacher Ms. Clarissa, who taught him the magic of helping others who appreciate you as a road to a meaningful life, how to move people’s hearts to change their minds, to leap over seemingly impossible walls, to express his heart through poetry, to learn superpowers he never before believed possible for him to wield, to make things that matter, and to create magic out of air. Directed by his 14-year-old sister Jubilee Sung.
